About Camp One Step
Camp One Step by Children’s Oncology Services provides free, year-round camp experiences that bring joy, confidence, belonging, and lifelong friendships to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Serving kids from diagnosis through treatment and into remission, Camp One Step offers both in-person and digital programs so every child can participate, whether at a campsite, at home, or in a hospital setting.
For more than 45 years, this volunteer-powered organization has helped 20,000+ campers rediscover the simple joys of childhood, build supportive connections with peers who truly understand their journey, and create lasting memories that empower them long after their camp experience ends. Inclusion, accessibility, and community are at the heart of its mission to ensure that no child facing cancer misses out on fun, friendship, or hope.
